Take the “Commit to Fit” Pledge with SUBWAY
Highly-acclaimed physician and health advisor, Dr. Marla Shapiro appears as a special guest for the upcoming episode of the Canadian Better Living television series. The special edition program is scheduled to air nationally on Food Network, Saturday, May 19th at 8:30am and CTV, Saturday, June 2nd at 10:30am, as secured independent programming. Now in its third season, the half-hour program explores the most important issues and topics related to Canada’s health and well-being.
The upcoming episode includes a special report entitled, “Commit to Fit with Subway” which highlights the success of two Canadians that lost weight with the help of an interesting lifestyle program – announced Patty Elliot-Sayer, Executive Producer of the series.
Like many Canadians today, Courtney Belanger and Carl Savard found themselves unhappy and overweight. They were faced with day to day struggles with their health and an uncertain future. Thanks to help from Subway Restaurants Commit to Fit program these two made a decision to change their lifestyles and each were able to lose over one hundred pounds. Today, they are Canada’s official Commit to Fit Ambassadors for Subway and they share with the rest of us their success stories.
