Who doesn’t love Italian? Synonymous with fresh, wholesome, and hearty meals, there is something about traditional Italian food that seems to bring the family together. However, some people view Italian cuisine as unhealthy and fattening. In this segment, Attila Laszlo from Vanellis Restaurants dispels this common misconception and shares with viewers the benefits and “Must-Have” staples of Italian cooking.
“Some people view Italian staples such as pasta as no-no foods,” said Michelle Hughes, Co-Executive Producer of the series. “But, pastas are made with grains and are good for our metabolism and energy levels.”
