Michael’s expertise is a fine blend of cooking and talking peppered with excitement and humor. Having studied culinary arts with an emphasis on the standards of French cooking, Michael has had the opportunity to work in some of Ontario’s finest restaurants, corporations as well as produce and host his own cooking show “Sizzle with Michael P. Clive”.

Michael’s career started in London Ontario after graduating from Culinary Management and Tourism & Hospitality from Fanshawe College in the late ‘90’s. After working in various bistros, finer dining establishments and the college he was once trained in, Michael made the move to Toronto Ontario where he hosted 50 episodes of Sizzle. From there he travelled into the world of corporate cheffing for various food companies such as Renee’s Gourmet, Gay Lea, & JL International developing recipes, executing menu ideations and presentations. Eventually Michael would be employed by CTV as the resident chef/food reporter for Canada AM. For 5 seasons he was responsible for spotting food trends and sharing his findings through inspired recipes. Soon after that Michael started his very own “test kitchen” where he consults for various companies (Bertolli, Molson, Panasonic, Clover Leaf, VH sauces, etc…) in the food world. His test kitchen offers media tours through cooking segments on many of Canada’s morning shows. Whether it be revamping menus, sharing recipes or training chefs, Michael does so with a fun, informative and always contagious spirit.

When Michael is sharing his culinary skills and excitement with the masses, he is also known for picking up the bass guitar and throwing some extreme tailgating parties celebrating sporting events…particularly football & basketball.
